We are now looking for a Finance assistant to join our team in Sweden:
Main responsibilities:
* Raise purchase orders in Ipos for finance and administrative departments.
* Matching of goods received notes to purchase orders and purchase invoices.
* Entry of purchase invoices into Ipos for all departments.
* Follow up on any query, rejected purchase invoices and invoices not released on a timely basis.
* Export of purchase invoices from Ipos to the Sun accounting package.
* Ensure the correct account coding and procedures are followed for rechargeable purchase invoices in order that these invoices are recharged.
* Ensure timely and accurate payment of purchase invoices.
* Resolve supplier queries as and when required.
* Ensure timely and accurate payment of non-purchase ledger expenditure.
* Monthly reconciliations: assist Management accountants in preparing a monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation file.
* Administration: assist with administrative tasks as required.
* Assist fellow finance team members as and when required.
* Provide vacation and sickness cover for tasks undertaken by fellow finance team members.
* Deadlines: ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Qualifications and experience:
- Knowledge of computerised finance systems.
- Good communication and diplomatic skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to form internal and external business relationships.
- Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
Experience in passenger, ramp and cargo handling services is a plus as well as good knowledge of Menzies Aviations organization.
