Finance Assistant/Ekonomi Assistent

As an A/R team-member you will be an important part of the Nordic and Baltic Credit Management Department consisting of 20 people working with transactions for all business entities including Liner, Logistics and Agencies.The position is located at the Maersk Sweden office in Gothenburg.General Areas of responsibilities . Play an active part in reaching the agreed targets and Key Performance Indicators in terms of outstanding freight for Denmark .Provide Sales and Customer Service with relevant information for them to aid the collection process . Play an active role in the reoccurring tasks such as dunning runs, customer contact etc and ensure these are handled in a professional manner. The Candidate The ideal candidate is ambitious, result-driven, structured and able to handle multiple tasks in parallel with focus on the right priorities.The person will be expected to have the desire and ability to take own responsibility and deliver high quality information to our external and internal customers on time and follow up to ensure results are achieved.Further, the person needs to be a good team-player with the ability and desire to take an active part in the team and ensure that focus is kept on reaching the targets.Additional desirable skills: Knowledge in Oracle based finance systems systems Advanced knowledge in Excel and MS Access Please send your application through our job portal at www.maersk.com as soon as possible but no later than May, 14th 2007.
