Finance Business Partners
 
As a Finance Business Partner for Vattenfall Staff Functions you are the representative for the functional perspective towards key senior stakeholders in the SF management teams. Your role is to provide recommendations and explain implications of different finance and business decisions. You will focus on strategic and tactical support and advise. You are the trusted go-to person for financial judgmental matters and support management teams in ad-hoc situations. In your role as FBP, you are an integral part of the strategical and operational planning as well as forecasting cycle. You are responsible for transporting business needs towards the finance organization and your SF-Controlling colleagues, to share and involve. Enablement of digital reporting solutions and leveraging other functional leading practices will be one of your key activities to drive overall transformation.
 
Mentioned above includes representing finance in business leadership meetings, perform strategic and operational advisory across all functional matters and contribute with finance knowledge in various projects, to ensure connection to critical financial processes. Another important task is to define mitigation actions, develop recommendations in order to facilitate decision making.
 
Key responsibilities
First point of contact for financial topics for the business management
Act as sparring partner and co-pilot to the business
Support strategic planning, drive operational planning as well as forecasting
Facilitate alignment of targets for respective business units
Gather relevant input required and include business insights
Drive adoption and implementation of digital reporting solutions and other leading practices such as leaner planning

 
Qualifications
Academic degree in Finance or business economics
Experience in controlling and other core financial processes in an international company
At least 2-3 years of proven experience in supporting management teams and senior management in financial aspects and beyond
Track record in creating future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies
Fluent in spoken and written English, fluency in Swedish, German or Dutch will be considered a merit.

The use of your high collaboration skills and the will to build strong partnerships will be key as a Finance Business Partner. Your will have good use of your ability to manage complexity and efficiently solve problems despite sometimes contradictory information.
