Full-time permanent role
Hybrid working

Do you want to work broadly with finance and truly contribute to the sustainability agenda? Do you enjoy making beautiful analysis in Excel and digging deep into details? Does your love for finances and business controlling even rub off and excite the most unexpected? And are you analytical and people oriented? If so, we seem to be a perfect match just waiting to happen, so take your chance to be part of something great!

We are a leading international consulting firm providing innovative and sustainable solutions to some of Sweden's most prestigious and innovative projects, such as the tallest building in the Nordics, Karlatornet, modern Hisingsbron and high-speed train Ostlänken as well as Västlänken train connections. As we are on the forefront of the sustainability agenda, we contribute to a sustainable way of living in most of our projects, one of them is sustainable airplane fuel. You could say that where there is something new and exciting going on, we're probably already a part of it.

FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER – THE ROLE
With several big projects won and more coming ahead, all supporting the green transition, we are now looking for two more Finance Business Partners to join our team. As Finance Business Partner, you have a great role in creating financial transparency within your portfolio, control risk assessments and hold project overview.
You support and co-create together with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and Line Managers in evaluating financial performance in relation to COWI's strategy. You have close collaboration with your colleagues and report to the Head of Project Controlling. You will be a part of our fantastic finance team, consisting of 20 people located in Gothenburg, as well as you are part of a strong financial team in our global setting with colleagues located in Norway, Denmark, and Lithuania.
Your key responsibilities:
· Being the business' trusted advisor and partner in financial matters
· Participate in and lead projects in the financial area both locally and globally.
· Creating analysis, reports, and presentation material
As we operate in several locations in Sweden, the position may require future travels, mainly to our offices in Stockholm and Malmö.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, and you have a non-prestigious, business partnering and curious mindset.
On top of that, you have:
· 2-5 years of experience in finance
· A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or industrial economics or similar
· The ability to balance between the partnering role and ensuring compliance with accounting controls
· Analytical skillset and an understanding of how to divide problems into relevant parts, securing quality in the details while keeping the overview of the deliverables
· You have a technical interest, and you are curious to understand financial systems and testing, and not afraid to push the limits
· Fluency both in Swedish and English
· Excellent skills in Excel – no pun intended
Furthermore, experience from working in a consulting firm or having a background in audit is meritorious.
