Finance Business Partner to Astellas Pharma

Poolia is recruiting a proactive, analytical and collaborative Finance Business Partner to Astellas Pharma in Copenhagen (Kastrup). JOB DESCRIPTION
You are offered a challenging and developing position in an international environment. You will work with a professional and dedicated team on a Nordic and European level.

You will focus on:

• Plan sales and expenses, prepare P&Ls and reports actuals
• Bring transparency to the performance of the market and analyze allocation of resources
• Provide financial decision support at market level to Commercial Operations Leads
• Coordinate financial planning processes and reporting of market. This includes all major financial planning cycles, such as annual budget, interim forecasts and overall mid-term plan (MTP).
• Collaborate with other Finance towers in projects and ad hoc requests
• Support Global Functions business partners sitting in Corporate FP&A with cost center planning and basic analysis
• Prepare and analyze P&L at market and key brand level. Prepare insightful presentations for local management. Prepare detailed variance analysis.
• Prepare Risks & Opportunities analysis
• Partner with marketing teams in day-to-day finance interactions. Provide financial decision support. Understand and influence strategic priorities of therapeutic areas.
• Provide financial input on business case development and pricing change discussions before area and regional approval, ensuring key financial, competitive and strategic considerations are accounted for.

Some travel will be required in the Nordics and in Europe.

You will report to Commercial Finance Lead, Nordics.

QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have at least 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner, Business Controller, Financial Controller, Business Analyst or Auditor. You probably have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

The position requires previous experience from stakeholder management, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and investment decision support. It is also an advantage if you have experience from sales & market analysis, compliance, risks & opportunities analysis and P&L analysis at market and key brand level.

Previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a merit but not a prerequisite.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) is a prerequisite for the position. If you handle one or more of the Scandinavian languages would be an asset.

If you are an experienced SAP and BI user, it will be an important advantage. Profound Excel and PowerPoint experience is required for the position.
