Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change. To our Business Category Unit (BCU) Patient and Post-Acute Care (PPAC) we are now looking for an independent and driven Finance Controller. In this position you will play a key part in the consolidation, reporting and development of the BCU’s business environment. The position offers you a great opportunity to join a small collaborative team where you get insight of a big variety of finance and controlling tasks. You will interface with many different stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. This is an interesting challenge for someone that would like to develop and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.

The position
In this position you will be part of a small effective regional team with main focus on reporting and controlling, being a key support to the R&D community and adding insightful value to the PPAC financials. The position also has strong focus on driving R&D business models for new products and interaction with all parts of the Getinge Group.

Your main responsibilities and tasks include:
•Monthly PPAC controlling
•Business Category Unit reporting internally and to Getinge HQ
•Be a system expert (in Cognos and other systems), guiding the finance function
•Establish network with local finance reporting teams
•Process and procedure optimization
•Spearhead the financial evaluation of R&D Business model proposals
•Drive cost analysis and balance sheet reviews
•Participate in internal audit visits to countries
•Provide clear and insightful finance transparency for business decisions

The position is based in Malmö and you will report to the PPAC BCU CFO. Occasional travel is expected to up to 30 days per year.


The ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience from working with accounting and/or controlling in a multicultural and international environment. Your key characteristics include:

•A Master’s degree or equivalent in finance and/or accounting.
•ERP and Consolidation System experience, preferably from Cognos, M3 and SAP
•Working experience with IFRS is an advantage
•Working experience with R&D is a merit
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office
•Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.

As a person you are highly self-driven, flexible and task-oriented and put pride in delivering high quality results on time. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with an ability to establish healthy relations with our stakeholders. It is also important that you have a challenging attitude and an ability to stand up for your opinions. Due to the dynamic and broad scope of the role, it is crucial that you have a good ability to prioritize and to work independently under tight deadlines. We also see that you have an analytical and detail-oriented mindset, without losing the helicopter view over the overall deliverable.
