Finance Controller

The Nordic & Baltic Area is looking to employ a controller in the Norway/Finland Controlling team.The controlling section currently covers 13 legal entities within Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and the Baltic countries.The position, based in Gothenburg / Sweden, reports to the Norway/Finland Controlling team lead.The company has just completed the process of implementing SAP as financial system across the Area. Main Responsibilities: .Prepare relevant Management Information and Financial Reporting..Analyze Country Result, various activities and follow up on Financial KPIs..Prepare and follow-up on profit hunt initiatives..Prepare investment proposals when required..Prepare input to the monthly report, budget, annual accounts and board meeting material..Support the country managers with relevant information on ad-hoc basis..Make suggestions for improvement in all aspects of the business..Establish and implement best practice within management information, reporting and controlling across the Area..Ensure that financial accounts are maintained in accordance with legal as well as Group internal requirements..Play an active role in enhancing the local SAP knowledge.Knowledge and skills requirements: .Finance and accounting experience .Degree in Financial Accounting .Strong analytical and problem solving skills .Ability to work at a high level of accuracy .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing .Energy and result orientation as trademarks .Good IT skills, preferably experience in SAP Please apply through our website at www.maersk.com as soon as possible but no later than May 22, 2007.
