FINANCE CONTROLLER, MENZIES AVIATION

We are now looking for a Finance Controller for Copenhagen Station. To be based in Copenhagen or Stockholm.
The position will be sharing the responsibility with the Station Manager of Copenhagen and reporting to our Regional Finance Controller in Scandinavia and consists equally of financial planning, record-keeping and financial compliance for the Denmark entity.
Hence, experience working with Danish finance laws and regulations is preferred but not required


MAIN DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITY:
Lead the accounting and financial planning and governance of the company.
Managing all P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, controls and processes for the station.
Analyse monthly results against Budget and Forecast.
Managing the weekly flash, annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes and 3 Year Plan.
Supporting the Station Manager, helping to optimise and analyse the operation
Ensuring financial validity of investment proposals and maintaining the reporting for all capital spending.
Implementation of KPI reporting framework that allows station to track performance against targets.
Identify, track and drive efficiencies and productivity benefits.
Manage financial internal and external audits and preparation of financial reports.
Cost control through validation and process adherence.
Development and Ad hoc analysis.



PROFILE:
University Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Reporting
Strong analytical and financial skills with strategic thinking
Delivery focused with a high degree of ownership and a positive, growth mind-set.
Experience of working in Hyperion or other similar financial reporting systems
Expertise in Excel and Data Management



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FURTHERMORE HAS:
Desired experience with working in any Scandinavian country and has experience in the financial laws and regulations, preferable the Danish regulations.
Good communication and diplomatic skills and ability to form internal and external business relationships.
Curious in understanding the business from both a customer and financial perspective.
Strong communicative skills, both written and spoken, in English and Danish
A flexible attitude to work, is self-motivated and disciplined.
A sense of detail and a desire to improve
Flexibility to travel and support for Scandinavia entities.
Hands-on practical approach to providing guidance and direction in a challenging and dynamic business environment.

Duration: Permanent (with 6 months' probation)
