To be responsible for preparing all accounting related information in respect of the following, Statutory Accounting & Taxation, - TP/Recharges within the Group, - Other statutory / regulatory / trade association bodies, '- Respect internal financial controls in line with S-OX, tax, treasury, planning and internal / external audits in collaboration with outsourced accounting services
Key responsibilities for this role include:
· Analyze key balance sheet accounts, intercompany reconciliations and provide input into working capital forecast
· Provide Financial analysis for various legal entity BS/PL. Ad-hoc Monthly/Quartely/Yearly,
· Prepare bad / doubtful debt provision calculations.
· Prepare fixed asset/capital expenditure accounting and reporting
· Prepare accurate and relevant financial data to all levels of Management as required.
· Prepare and submit with accuracy and in a timely manner the submission of Monthly closing to HFM/Annual reports. Information/returns as required by the Health authorities and other statutory / regulatory / trade assoc bodies as appropriate.
· Prepare and finalize Annual reports.
· Lead and particpate in all Internal /external Audits for the Local affiliate and the Legal entities
· Manage cash position by proper management of local account balances.
· Prepare supporting data for in-scope local insurance policies in accordance with global policies.
· Super user in the localaffiliate for LCM/PO/CFA/T&E and other similar Viatris standard processes
· Participate in relevant financial accounting projects as required.
· Support and participate in other Finance sub-teams in projects as required to ensure cohesive team built.
· Follow up GIS-based activities - weekly and monthly acitivites (AP - Smartsource, Direct and Indirect TAX, payments, Overdue reports etc)
· Liaise activities with GIS Centre related with Accounting & Payables
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Accounting)
· ICAEW or equivalent
· Good communication and influencing skills
· Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Strong competence in data analysis and insight development
· Operates to a good degree of autonomy
· Can-do, entrepreneurial attitude
