Faiveley Transport Nordic AB, part of Wabtec Corporation, a system supplier to the international railway industry. The company was founded over 100 years ago and is one of the leading actors on the Nordic railway market where we deliver different types of service and improvement projects on many of the Nordic trains types with focus on brake systems, door systems, air condition systems, automatic couplers and electronics. As Finance Director you are responsible for managing the Finance department, consisting of six employees, and for business partnering with the Faiveley Transport Nordic Management Team to fuel growth and improve profitability. You drive and initiate projects relating to finance, reporting and the ERP system and you also support any business-related initiatives.
You report to the Vice President, Finance of the Transit Services Group, with headquarters in France, but works closely with the local Managing Director and the Faiveley Transport Nordic Management Team, whom you are part of.
Areas of responsibilities
You are responsible for:
-developing and producing relevant KPIs of the business
-cooperating with
- banks, head-offices, auditors and local authorities
- sister companies in connection with financial and administrative questions
-participating in company planning and strategy set-ups
-managing a group of six employees
You are accountable for:
- closing of the books and accounting on a monthly basis in compliance with US GAAP
- reporting to group
- budget and forecasting
- follow up of projects
-net cash-flow planning and follow up
-SOX controls
Further you are a contact person in systems and accounting questions
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a passion for finance and for supporting the business. You easily navigate in the environments described above. We think you have a solid experience within accounting and hold a Master of Science in Business Administration & Economics. You have a manager experience. It’s an advantage if you are familiar with long term projects. Ideally you have experience from working in a matrix organization at an international company.
As a person you are a team player with a strategic mindset and you enjoy a high tempo. You thrive leading and motivating your co-workers. You master the Office package and have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English. It is beneficial if you have experience from working with M3.
10 to 15 years of experience is required, including five years in a similar role.
