Finance Director Performance

As industry trends show increased vertical specialisation, we have made the bold decision to join forces across the Nordics and become Nordic specialists within each of our verticals: Recommerce, Real estate, Mobility and Jobs. From 1 January 2023, we are no longer organised by country, but by our verticals. This ensures that the verticals have the autonomy and strength to deliver the best solutions to the market, just like the vertical specialists we compete with.

Our marketplaces have unique and strong positions as market leaders, with DBA and Bilbasen in Denmark, FINN in Norway, Blocket in Sweden and Tori and Oikotie in Finland. Together we make up Nordic Marketplaces in Schibsted, collectively connecting millions of buyers and sellers every month. Are you passionate about driving excellence and maximising potential? We are now recruiting a Finance Director Performance Management to help shape the success of Nordic Marketplaces. You will work closely with senior management and be part of the finance management team.

Main Responsibilities:

Contribute to strengthening target-driven performance across NMP

-
Drive the financial target process and further develop and implement performance measurement frameworks to track key metrics and KPIs across NMP

Drive performance management throughout Nordic Marketplaces, by both supporting and pushing the verticals to realise their full potential, including benchmarking with external peers

Analyse data trends (financial and operational data) to provide actionable insights for informed decision making in NMP management team

Initiate and participate in various projects to increase business efficiency

Create executive-level performance reports

Drive business reviews across NMP with focus on performance and prepare business reviews with Schibsted Group

Ensure competence in performance management throughout the group

Experience:

-
Master in Business Administration or Economics or Finance.

Minimum 10 years experience from qualified business controlling, experience from dynamic planning is preferred

Experience from working with business model and cost optimization is preferred

Experience from working in a matrix organisation is preferred
