Finance Director Real Estate

In Nordic Marketplaces we are currently in a very exciting change process. As industry trends show increased vertical specialization, we have made the bold decision to join forces across the Nordics and become Nordic specialists within each of our verticals: Re-commerce, Real estate, Mobility and Jobs. From 1 January 2023, we are no longer organised by country, but by our verticals. This ensures that the verticals have the autonomy and strength to deliver the best solutions to the market, just like the vertical specialists we compete with.

We are now recruiting a Finance Director in Real Estate that will be part of both the Real Estate vertical leadership team and the finance leadership team in Nordic Marketplaces.

Real Estate is a significant business with a strong purpose of “empowering people in their journey to find a home at every stage of life”. We are represented with strong brands in Norway (FINN Eiendom), Sweden (Blocket Bostad and Qasa) and Finland (Oikotie). Every month, our brands have over 50 million visits.

Main Responsibilities:

Contributing with relevant and insightful information that ensures that the management team makes good strategic and operational decisions

Drive performance management in the vertical through deep knowledge of the drivers of the business and knowledge of the financial mechanisms in other comparable specialists in the market

Lead, support & develop a small team of business controllers

Financial steering through dynamic planning and long term forecasts to provide key information and actionable insight to the Real Estate management team and NMP

Financial reporting and analysis - follow up on revenues and costs, focus on sustainable profitability

Initiate and participate in various projects, including working with business cases

Experience:

Master in Business Administration or Economics.

Minimum 10 years experience from qualified business controlling, experience from dynamic planning is preferred

Experience from working with business model and cost optimization is preferred

Experience from working in a matrix organisation is preferred
