The Finance Graduate program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in several common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.
You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. Our organization:
Group Finance Business Office works to deliver on the overall strategy for finance, by focusing on becoming more data driven, accelerating digitalization, project execution and competence management within Finance. This work includes Finance Information Management & Data Governance, Core Finance Platforms, Consolidation & Financial Reporting Solutions, Business Support & Analytics CoE.

We have adopted the mission to drive innovation and transform our analytics capabilities throughout the Finance department at the Volvo Group. We are a team of specialists focused on reporting, data, and analytics, responsible for finance group reporting, finance data products, and finance analytical BI applications. Working closely with our digital IT partners, we have the responsibility to ensure the quality and timeliness of group financial reporting, all while having the ability to innovate and deliver cutting-edge analytical capabilities using our data platforms.
How you will make an impact:
As a BI & Advanced Analytics Analyst in Finance, you will be at the forefront of an emerging role that combines finance and data analytics to drive innovative use data in financial use cases. This entry-level position is designed for new graduates who are eager to explore the exciting intersection of finance, business intelligence & data science and make a meaningful impact on the industry.
You will have the opportunity to dive into our large cache of financial data to uncover hidden insights, create impactful visualizations, and collaborate with senior data scientists to build advanced analytics predictive models. You will gain hands-on experience with our cutting-edge data platform and apply machine learning techniques to forecast financial trends and risks. Furthermore, you will interact with various finance stakeholders and seize the opportunity to understand the different roles, responsibilities, and processes within finance functions such as accounting, business controlling, treasury management, and corporate finance.
The valued outcome is gaining the experience to deliver data-backed insights to support key decision-making processes for the company.
Who are you?
We are looking for the next generation experts and leaders within the Finance field, who wants to make a real difference to society. You are passionate about what you do, have a curious mind and are willing to learn. Just like us, you thrive on teamwork. Additionally, we believe you have a strong interest in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R, and that you are familiar with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau. Interest and/or experience with Machine Learning and AI is a merit.
Required knowledge/experience
You have the relevant BSc or MSc degree in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Data Analytics/Science related fields
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English
Maximum two years previous working experience prior to, or after graduation.
A valid work permit for the country to which you apply (if not a citizen).
