The Finance Graduate program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!


During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.


You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. Our organization:
Group Finance Business Office works to deliver on the overall strategy for finance, by focusing on becoming more data driven, accelerating digitalization, project execution and competence management within Finance. This work includes Finance Information Management & Data Governance, Core Finance Platforms, Consolidation & Financial Reporting Solutions, Business Support & Analytics CoE.


This is us, your new team:
The Core Finance Platform team is responsible for a wide range of applications, supporting finance in the Volvo Group. We are a highly experienced team with a mix of experiences from Finance, IT and different business functions. Our role is to own and, in close cooperation with Group D&IT, develop the applications supporting the finance function within Volvo Group.


How you will make an impact:
You will work in a high paced and truly global team of colleagues from different functions, including Group Finance, Business Areas and Digital & IT.


We are now taking major steps in the digital transformation of Finance as we implement SAP’s S/4 Hana as the group common Finance platform. It is one of the largest digitalization projects in the Volvo group and essential to enable and support the further development of our business towards our vision to become the most desired and successful transport and infrastructure solution provider in the world.
The S/4 Hana solution is the backbone of our finance processes, and the project will involve almost all Truck Divisions, Business Areas, and Group Functions globally. Our team is the owner of the solution and an integral part of the project. As Digital Solution Analyst, you will have an important role in the analysis of requirements as well as solution design and validation.

Who are you?

Required knowledge/experience
You have a BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer science, or similar fields.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly analyze requirements and potential solutions within finance
A combination of knowledge in finance and digital technologies
Basic understanding of how ERP systems work
Good communication and presentation skills
In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English
Maximum two years previous working experience prior to, or after graduation.
A valid work permit for the country to which you apply (if not a citizen).
