The Finance Graduate program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.
You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. Our organization:
Group Business Control is part of Group Financial Reporting and Business Control, which is responsible for the complete financial reporting and performance management of the Volvo Group. Group Financial Reporting and Business Control holds the overall responsibility for ensuring that Group management has a full understanding of the current and future financial performance of the Group. From a Group perspective, it oversees financial reporting, develops the financial steering model, conducts business control of the Group, and takes responsibility for policies, guidelines, and governance within the areas of Accounting, Internal Control, and Business Control.
This is us, your new team:
At Group Business Control, we are a tight team who supports our top management, Executive Board and Board of Directors with holistic analyses and presentations on the group’s financial performance in closings and estimates as well as in ad-hoc analyses. We work closely together with our Business Control colleagues in other parts of the Volvo Group. We are a key stakeholder in supporting the Volvo Group strategy and develop the financial models and principles for the group both now and for the future. Group Business Control is also responsible for the common financial policies and principles in the Volvo Group and for developing performance management, financial planning, and investments.
How you will make an impact:
As a Business Controller, your role involves providing management with information and analyses to offer a transparent view of the Group's financial performance. You will actively participate in the development of financial models and tools for the future. Given our broad area of responsibility, you should enjoy managing multiple topics simultaneously. For us, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration are key to success.
This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain a holistic perspective of the Volvo Group.

Required knowledge/experience
University degree in Business Administration or similar education
Complete proficiency in English
Maximum two years previous working experience prior to, or after graduation.
A valid work permit (if not a Swedish citizen).
