Finance Information Management and Data Governance is, as of April 1st, a key part of Group Finance Business Office organization with the Governance and Management responsibility for Business-critical information assets to support Volvo Group Finance strategy and other important development within the Volvo Group Finance.


We drive and support Finance information management cross all Volvo Group TD/BA & Group Functions. As the Finance Information owner, we actively contribute to the transformation and digitalization journey within Group Finance in close cooperation with Digital & IT Data organization.


We are now looking for a Finance Information Architect

Core responsibilities
Lead and support the development of a Target Information Architecture (e.g., information landscape, master sources, information flows)
Manage and govern the architecture (incl. definition and structure) of business-critical information assets within Finance
Perform and lead data analysis activities including data profiling, data quality, creation of data dictionaries, data transformation rules and integration requirements
Oversee data management process and provide guidance and direction to development teams - including design, documentation, maintenance, enhancements, and validation
Work closely with internal teams including compliance, privacy, risk, information security to ensure all business requirements are considered in the design process
Participate in the development of architectures, strategies, and policies around data, including data governance, master data management, metadata management, data quality and data security



Key competencies for the position
To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following experiences/capabilities:
Architectural skills, including analytical, solution-oriented mind-set, well-structured and organized
Good understanding of information and modelling notions
IT proficient – Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Other modeling and data analytics tools are a merit
Digital literacy – finding it easy to adapt to new IT tools and systems. Engaged in driving automation using digital tools
Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills, oral and writing, with an ability to make presentations and build trust
Ability to drive and take decisions but yet equipped with true understanding on when to seek guidance
Ability to see complex structures/processes and convert them into understandable output
Fluent in English, Swedish is seen as a merit
