Finance Lead - Transformation Office (globally flexible)

Seco Tools are about to go from good to great, and to accelerate the implementation of our strategy, we’re now launching a company-wide program called Level Up! It’s a transformation program to help us gain the focus and momentum needed to meet our long-term targets and ambitions. In line with this, we’ve also built a new department – the Transformation Office.
To support our transformation program, we’re currently looking for a driven and self-motivated Finance Lead to join us in a high impact role working with all areas of the company.

About the job
Your mission is to support all the initiatives related to our Level Up program in financial matters, working independently but in close collaboration with your colleagues. As it’s a new position, you create and establish frameworks and processes. You’re responsible for providing consistent valuation guidance, driving audit initiatives and tying the transformation to monthly actuals. You’re the finance approver for initiatives and you make sure that all financial documents, such as valuation guidelines and business case templates, are up to date. Also included in your role are to assess transformation pipeline status and challenge gaps in execution and quality as well as ensure that the work within transformation finance is aligned with our daily business finance.
You report to our CFO and have a dotted line reporting to Director of Transformation Office, and you’re a valued member of our Financial Management team. The location for this position is at our headquarters in Fagersta or one of our other sites throughout the world, and travel is a natural part of your job.

With strong communication and presentation skills you easily interact with executive leaders. You have developed skills in listening and also in constructive ways of challenging stakeholders and colleagues when needed
We’re looking for someone with several years’ professional experience within finance, combined with a master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar field. Naturally, you’re good with numbers and are used to working with the relevant digital tools. It’s a plus if you also have knowledge of internal audits. Working in a truly global organization calls for excellent English skills, verbally and in writing.
