The job
The Finance Manager for HemoCue AB will have the overall responsibility for financial transactions, controls, financial reporting, and business controlling activities related to HemoCue AB, and holding companies. The setup of the organization involves management responsibility for a group of accountants and controllers.
The main tasks include:
* Daily management of the accounting processes including establishment of cross-departmental back up and training in the team
* Ensuring continuous compliance, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and ACP
* Being a business partner for company’s management and functional leaders (R&D, OPS, Marketing, etc.) providing financial and business analysis support. Being involved in the preparation of the Strategic Plans, annual budgets, and involvement in potential ad hoc projects like risk mitigation, M&A, capital investments, etc.
* Preparation of statutory reporting and tax returns
* Managing the business controlling activities within HemoCue AB, strong involvement in the continuous process improvement activities including driving progress on critical intitiatives
* Ensuring accurate and reliable expense forecasts for all the functions in the company; analysis of the company’s performance and sparring with the key individuals in the organization
* Developing finance personnel to grow professionally
Qualifications

* You hold a relevant degree within finance/economics/business administration and have strong foundation in US GAAP. Knowledge of Swedish GAAP will be an advantage
* You should have managerial experience within finance, accounting or controlling, preferably from a manufacturing company
* You communication skills in English are on a hig level, Swedish is an advantage
* You have a good foundation in IT and are proficient in MS Excel
