Finance Manager

Forso Nordic Sweden operates as a captive finance company.The company is a joint-venture between Ford Motor Company and Credit Agricole with operations in all four Nordic markets.In Sweden, the company is operating as the captive finance company for Ford, Mazda and Jaguar Land Rover.The offices are co-located with the Nordic headquarters in Göteborg. We are now recruiting a Finance Manager through Svensk Autorekrytering AB As the Finance Manager you will work closely with the Country Manager and the operating teams of the Swedish operation, as well as the regional management team.The Finance Manager reports to the Country Manager Forso Sweden and to the Nordic Controller (matrix reporting) and is a member of the Swedish management team.The Swedish operation has 25 employees. Principal accountabilities Development of annual profit budgets & business plans, profit forecasts, performance reports, and management reports.Maintaining accurate pricing, forecast & budget models and related assumptions, including concurrence to pricing proposals.Financial reporting, monitoring and analysis in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines, including tax matters.Month-end reporting including analysis and commentary to regional management.Compliance with and supervision of company finance policies and finance procedures.Efficient funding, including optimizing funding and cash positions.Support regional statutory reporting and bank reporting compliance.Coordination of internal and external audits.Supervision of the accounting team.Qualifications and personal characteristics Finance/accounting oriented university degree or equivalent.Previous experience from accounting, financial analysis and financial controls.Excellent PC skills.Communication and interpersonal skills.Personal characteristics such drive for results, analytical capability and a business-oriented mindset are important for this position.Fluent in Swedish and English.
