Finance Manager

At Eliq, you'll be joining a fast growing SaaS startup that helps utility companies accelerate the clean energy transition and transform end-customer experience. Currently, we serve 15+ utilities with our SaaS service, energy analytics, white-label mobile apps, enabling millions of consumers to understand and manage their energy usage and are on a mission to reach 100s of millions of end-customers over the coming years.
As our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the company's financial model, budgets, and reporting, and you'll be overseeing accountancy firms for our Swedish, UK and Lithuanian operations. You will be supporting the CEO Hakan Ludvigson in the process of raising big growth rounds and play an instrumental role in their closing. You will be working on the models, pitch decks and equity story and thus being a leader of the company’s voice towards investors. You will develop reporting that creates value for shareholders & new investors and make sure all accounting processes work seamlessly. You may have an opportunity to grow into a CFO role, as we scale the business towards an IPO or other exit.

What we are looking for
Min 3 years of professional experience from finance
Background from a venture fund, M&A or from a reputable accounting firm (such as the big 4)
An understanding for venture capital
Ability to develop financial modelling, carry on conversations with investors and oversee accountants
Grit, hunger for learning new things, upskilling yourself and grow in your role with the company
Proficient in English, and enough Swedish to deal with local authorities as needed in day to day business
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but part-time remote location within Sweden may be considered.
