We are now recruiting the person to lead the accounting and controlling function for the EMEA region. This role also comprises ensuring accurate reporting to management, maintaining legal compliance as well as providing advice to the overall business.

Main tasks

• Lead the accounting and controlling function for the EMEA region
• Drive budget and forecasting processes, overall responsibility for company and region cash flow
• Take lead in all accounting processes, make sure the company’s financial environment is efficient and well-functioning.
• Manage the regional Annual report process, be the primary contact for external auditors together with the Head of Group Accountant.
• Head the regional finance team, securing functionality of systems and processes
• Support CFO in communication with stakeholders, increasing the understanding of Icomera’s business
• Support Regional Head for EMEA
• Drive communication with internal stakeholders in order to follow up and control the overall business

Qualifications, experience and competencies

You have good leadership and analytical skills, you are decisive and able to make even tough choices when needed. Further, you have a strong sense of initiative and responsibility, you provide others with direction, and you motivate and empower your colleagues and staff. With ethic principles and integrity, you promote diversity and build strong teams of responsible and committed people that drive business according to company policies and goals. To be successful in this role you need to be organized and able to set clear goals that are achieved through efficient, adaptive and proactive work. Showing compliance to instructions, policies and regulations as well as being committed to the organization and our values is also important.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
• 10 + years of experience within international business, experience from IT businesses and project accounting is a strong plus.
• Local Accounting regulations and requirements is preferable
• Knowledge in project accounting
• Experience in SAP is preferable
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Fluency in written and spoken German is preferable
