Finance Manager & Parts and Service Controller

Finance Manager & Parts and Service Controller

Arbetsbeskrivning

At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR), we deliver advanced products and solutions for the mining and construction industries and we serve customers across all continents. In line with our visions, culture and values, our ambition is to drive important shifts and advance the world through engineering and we aim for nothing but world-class performance in everything we do.
We are now looking for a combined Finance Manager and Parts and Service Controller to join our Northern European business control management team – a place where collaboration, innovation and agility are key and where we constantly challenge the status quo to keep our industry leading position. This position is based at our site in Veddesta (Stockholm).
We think that you will be motivated to join us if you:
Enjoy taking responsibility and seizing the opportunities of meaningful change that comes with it
Are skilled in connecting numbers to reality and reality to numbers and want to drive business value
Are a supportive leader who enjoys seeing your team grow and flourish, while taking our common performance to the next level

About the job – a combination of two roles
In the role as Finance Manager, you take the financial responsibility for our Swedish legal entity within SMR – coaching, leading and supporting your finance team. You make sure your team is the right one and challenge and optimize our business performance by giving efficient, reliable and proactive financial support. As member of the local management team you take an active part in business decisions and work closely with our local sales managers and corporate finance and compliance functions.
In the Parts and Service Controller role, you work with the very important Parts and Service division for the whole Northern Europe sales area, taking responsibility for the controlling function by working shoulder-to-shoulder with the division’s Business Line Manager.
You’re a member of the Sales Area Northern Europe business control management team where all finance managers meet and develop our finance way of working within the Sales Area. You apply your knowledge of controlling to support and challenge the organization to take true ownership of their financial performance.
About you
We are looking for a solid and experienced leader with a degree in Accounting or Business Administration. You have broad experience from business control, working with actuals and forecasts – preferably in the manufacturing industry as this enables you to understand our challenges and performance drivers.
You’re also good at analysis – zooming in on details and zooming out to the full picture – and have a keen interest in reporting tools and business intelligence.
As Sandvik is a global business, you need to communicate and present information fluently in English. You are a good communicator who suggest improvements and highlight new opportunities to “make numbers talk”.
With a combination of an analytical mind, business acumen and a good presence you challenge and support our growing business. You are an easy-to-access collaborator, guided by high integrity and a genuine desire to create team spirit. You bring attention and energy and are committed to take our performance to the next level.

Therefore, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where people can be themselves and reach their full potential. We also give you the freedom to find that perfect mix between work, family life and interests. Visit our website, LinkedIn or Facebook to get to know us further.
