We're now looking for a Finance Manager to join our Financial and business controlling team – a unit that's heavy in production and that also includes staff functions for Rock Tools and business area functions. BRIEFLY ABOUT THE JOB
Promoting the Sandvik Way and acting as a role model, you lead and support the financial team, consisting of business controllers and finance, to maintain the short and long-term financial health of our business area, and you make sure we’re well equipped for the future. You drive the development of finance competence within the entity through guidelines, training, collaboration with key stakeholders and finance teams, and best practice sharing, and you support onboarding of new employees.
You proactively drive and develop processes such as accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, treasury, credit and collections. You safeguard integrity of the financial processes and support us in the financial tools for efficient and standardized way of working. You also develop and evaluate financial plans and policies and ensure to keep the entity Limits of Authority up-to-date and easily available for stakeholders and aligned with set principles. Supporting compliance and risk management processes, you act for an efficient financial internal control system to mitigate and control risks, and you make sure that required deliveries are accurate and on time.
Business support and performance management are important parts of the job. You challenge and optimize our business performance by giving efficient, reliable and proactive financial support and taking an active part in business decisions. By working closely with your stakeholders, you transfer your financial knowledge and promote ownership of both numbers and performance. You suggest improvements and highlight new opportunities, making numbers talk by communicating relevant financial analysis to the right people at the right time – clarifying financial implications of possible business decisions.
This position is based at our site in Sandviken.
WE BELIEVE THIS IS YOU
We’re looking for a business-oriented, highly structured and self-driven person who’s both experienced and well equipped to work in an ever-changing setting. You have at least five years’ experience in financial controlling or accounting, and you have acted in international and intercultural work environments. Naturally, you have managerial experience, where direct or indirect people management experience is highly valued. It’s also a plus if your background includes project management. A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and good knowledge Office 365 is required, and it’s beneficial if you are skilled in ERP systems and BPC, as well as in Power BI. You need to communicate fluently in English, and we consider knowledge of Swedish beneficial.
