Carl Grundén began producing waterproof oilskins in 1911 for the fishermen of the North Sea in Grundsund, Sweden. Material Shortages of WWI forced the company to close but in 1926 Grundén Regnkläder AB was founded and has been producing quality gear ever since. Built by fishermen then, Grundéns’ way of thinking today carries this tradition. Grundéns is looking for a Finance Manager to the office in Borås. Reporting to the Global CFO, located in the US, the Finance Manager will lead daily operations including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the month end closing process including the preparation of financial statements and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

The Finance Manager develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger and leads budgeting and forecasting for the Swedish entities. You will cooperate and work cross-functionally with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives. You will also be involved in the analyze of workflows in the Finance Department in order to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent and at least five years of relevant work experience. Experience in building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and customers while demonstrating knowledge and professionalism. You are detail oriented with strong analytical skills including advanced Excel skills, fluent in English and Swedish and have very good communications skills.
