We are Mimbly
We design and develop sustainable laundry solutions. Our first product, the Mimbox, is a connected device that recycles water while preventing microplastics from laundry machines from entering waterways and oceans. We want to continue developing innovative solutions in water and microplastic capturing and act as a thought leader in cleantech.
Mimbly consists of 13 passionate team members. We want to have an impact on the world by saving water, energy, and microplastics. The Mimbox is an add-on solution used in laundry rooms that can save up to 70% of the water that is used in a wash. It filtrates Microplastic and reduces CO2 emitted from the water heating process. What will you do?
As our Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our company. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and working closely with the team. A key part of the role involves capital raising, where you will identify and negotiate financing opportunities to support our growth and development, in close collaboration with our CEO.
Your strategic thinking will be crucial as you design and implement financial strategies that lead to profitability and sustainable growth. You will work closely with the founders, board of directors, management team and the whole team to ensure all financial decisions and plans support the company's goals and vision.
As you progress on your journey with Mimbly you will handle legal tasks related to finance, contracts, and regulations within our industry. This means you will be the company's go-to person for all things finance and legal, thereby becoming a key player in our continued success. Who are you?
We believe that you’re a person who thrives in an innovative and dynamic environment, with a keen eye for detail, but at the same time, the big picture. To excel in this role, it's essential to share our passion for this mission and act as a thought leader. Some of the experiences we believe you should have are:

Relevant university degree in finance, economics, law, or a related field.


At least 5 years of experience in a leading financial role, preferably within a startup environment.


Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis.


Participated in and completed the financial statements together with an accounting firm.


Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.


Collaboration skills across departments and people


Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Fluent in English & Swedish, both written and spoken.


We see it as extra meritorious if you have:

Experience in capital raising and negotiating with investors.


Knowledge of legal matters related to corporate finance and contract law.


Being a part of presenting financial reports for Management or the Board.


International experience
