Scania’s Transmissions manufacturing (DX) has currently more than 800 employees and produces transmission parts for gearboxes and axles. Your role
You report to the Plant Manager DX and will be part of the DX management team, today consisting of 9 members with mixed backgrounds, experiences, and expertise. We value the fact that we as a team work together towards the same goal. We challenge and encourage each other while having fun along the road. You and your team support the entire DX unit and have the main responsibility for controlling of the daily production and supporting our work with future products. The department's driving force is to increase its own quality and efficiency on a daily basis with the help of Scania's production system. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the work and the financial function's personnel and business development as well as the group's quality.
Your tasks will include:
• Dedicated support and challenge operational business and their managers
• Financial statements and analysis
• Forecasts
• Monitoring and analysis of the business at different levels and follow-up
• Analysis of costs per product and process.
• Business Case calculations and analysis
Your profile
We are looking for you, who is driven and engaged with a desire to work close to the production. You can stay calm and stay focused in a fast-paced environment. We would like you to be:
• Analytic
• Accurate and have an eye for the details while maintaining the overall perspective.
• Driven to independently drive issues and work with process improvements.
• An experienced controller
• Confident in your leadership and good communication skills. Preferrable you have been in a leading position before.
• An experienced user of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of PBI is a merit.
You have an academic education within the area of finance/economics.
