The Project Support and Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source Eric in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Finance Officer.
Description of Finance Group
The Finance Group is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting. You will be one of 7 employees in the Finance Group.
Description of main responsibilities
You will be responsible for the accounts payable ledger, including VAT reporting, reconciliations and taking part in the monthly closing. You will also take part in other administrative tasks within the Finance group. We expect that you have experience of independently conducting analysis and investigations.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person a with financial degree or equivalent with at least 5 year experience of accounting. You are comfortable and have good knowledge of accounting principles and you are used to work towards deadlines. We would like to see that you have experience working with VAT and especially EU VAT is a merit. You speak and write both Swedish and English. We also assume that you have good computer skills. We work in the Agresso business system and experience of this is a merit.
To be successful and perform well in this position you are committed, driven, service minded and flexible. You are also thorough, structured, able to prioritized and have an eye for details. You will be part of a team where everyone takes part and support each other.

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months’ initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
