Does it feel like now is the time to move on to new challenges? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Operations Manager to join our Finance team on a permanent basis based in Solna.
This role will be reporting to the Finance Operations Lead with dotted line to the Head of Finance Sweden. The role will be part of the Swedish Finance Leadership team and will be responsible for leading a team of two accounts (Finance Operations Specialists) and a team of five billing and collection specialists. You and your team will work closely with the team in the newly established Shared Service Center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
What you will be doing:
Responsible for the preparation of monthly Financial Closing in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory GAAP (K3) and completing all related submissions.
Leading the preparation of audited statutory accounts and all other returns in line with all deadlines for review and signoff by company Directors
Working with Corporate Tax team as necessary and completing tax packs
Reporting on cashflow
Cooperate with Finance Operations Lead to maintain internal controls documentation
Supporting team members through training and development
Continue the implementation of the new ERP MSD 365

About You:
You have a Masters in business administration, Accounting and Auditing, Finance etc
5 years of experience with financial controlling and/or auditing, preferably having experience with SSC/BPO
Solid knowledge of accounting and reporting according to Local GAAP and preferable US GAAP
Experience of the Swedish VAT and corporate tax system
Experience from working in a multinational setting is an advantage
Language skills: fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HFM is an advantage
Strong analytical and technical acumen
Excellent communication, collaborative and relationship building skills are essential
Ability to be self-motivated and thrive in order to maintain both personal and team effectiveness
Ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables to strict reporting deadlines
Strong focus on quality and continual improvement
In supervisory work, we value a coaching and participatory approach, but previous supervisory experience is not necessary.
