Join us as a Finance R&D Manager in Stockholm, Sweden and you will be looking at a career-defining role.
Your key responsibilities?
Key member of the Development centre management team
o Support the Development centre management team as a finance partner (prepare in conjunction with the program team, the program review content and the Business case supporting the R&D investment)
o Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making (early warning).
o Have a clear understanding of the program systems
o Work closely with Department head in order to ensure that allocated program staffing is aligned with Program needs
Controlling activities
o Ensure controlling, alignment, monthly follow up of R&D and sustaining and application of Alstom accounting rules
o Ensure consistency with annual authorized budget and anticipate the request of any arbitration due to overrun or underspend
o Produce all financial reporting as requested (SFTR, Teranga,)
o Provide monthly analysis on R&D and Sustaining to management and global R&D team
o Closing calendar: reporting on-time versus deadline, awareness given to the unit team
o Provide support for correct risk valuation
o Review program finance specific internal controls
Accounting
o Coordinate with the program team to ensure consistent accounting and reporting across the program.
o Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant
o Support for bi-annual external audit
Tools :
o Program structure creation/updates in the local tools (Primavera, ERP,…)
o Tool support to the operation teams on the existing tools
o Relay in implementation of new methods and tools for program management
Team management:
o R&D Program controlling team leader

You are a strategic thinker with an eye for details seeking to develop and maintain long-term cross-functional relationships.
Minimum qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years relevant professional work experience
Strong excel skills.
Experience in ERP systems
English and Swedish business fluent
Experience of working as manager
