Financial Accountant

Sellpy is growing and so are our needs for well-executed book-keeping. We are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join our yet small and ambitious Finance team.

As our new Financial Accountant, you will be running the daily bookkeeping and managing accounts payable and receivable. You will work continuously with optimising our bookkeeping-related processes to make sure Sellpy’s financial results are delivered with high quality to stakeholders on time. We are excited to see you grow in this role and become a solid part of the Finance team at Sellpy.

In short, you will:

- Run the day-to-day bookkeeping
- Manage accounts payable and company expenses
- Manage accounts receivable
- Execute customer and supplier payments
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Help the commercial team with customer inquiries and invoicing
- Support the rest of our Finance team in book closure activities
- Capitalize tangible fixed assets and depreciations


You need:

- A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 0-1 year of experience in accounting or similar
- Excellent communication in Swedish and English, verbally and written
- An analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and a continuous drive to improve processes
- To be comfortable working in a high-growth company and facing new challenges we haven’t met before


We are impressed if you:

- Have accounting experience from a full or part-time job
- Speak an additional European language. We are extra impressed if you know German.
