On behalf of Mariager Salt Specialties A/S, Randstad is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager working out of either their Swedish site located in Gothenburg (preferred) or their Danish site located in Mariager.

With direct reference to the Financial Manager of the Group, you will be responsible for building up Financial Accounting for the Nordics, including setting your own team and in close collaboration with the Group establishing a sustainable way of working.

Responsibilities
• Manage accounts receivables, accounts payables, GL and Treasury dept.
• Be hands-on in the daily work and responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closes in statutory accounts and in FR GAAP
• Implement all Group accounting rules
• Manage internal controls and coordinate with external auditors for statutory financial reporting and coordination with local tax
• Ensure collaboration with the Controlling dept. as well as the other parts of the business
• Liaise with local regulators and authorities
• Manage performance reviews, training program and career development for the accounting team at sight

To succeed and to get things done, you will work closely together with the Business & Plant Controller in Sweden, the new Financial Accounting Manager in The Netherlands and your Financial Accounting colleagues in France.

Qualifications
It is important that you have experience from working in a large, international company so that you are familiar with internal controls rules and preferably, you have the capacity to switch between different GAAPs.

Besides that, you meet the following criteria:
• Min. 7-10 years of working experience, preferably with supervisory experience gained in a similar accounting environment
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Chartered Accounting qualification or equivalent
• Knowledge of Accounting standards in IFRS and French GAAP
• Experience with IT accounting (SAP)
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, knowledge of French is a plus

As a person, you are outgoing and can commit professionally in relations with stakeholders. You are a strong communicator, both in writing and orally, and you are not afraid to reach out to others for information.

You are able to make decisions quickly and have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. You are very cooperative, but also able to work independently and lead others.
