Financial Analyst

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Financial Analyst to support our Technology platform and become a business partner to our awarded and worldwide forefront R&D and IT team in Malmo. The role will report to the Senior Group Finance Manager (based at our HQ in Geneva) and be a critical part of our Group organization in our industry leading Innovation center in Malmö.

This position offers an opportunity to impact on Verisure’s ambitious Technology developments and innovation programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows. 

The Financial Analyst will be a part of the Group Finance Technology team (9 people based in Geneva, Switzerland; Malmo, Sweden; and Madrid, Spain). 

Main responsibilities of this position:
* Commercial Finance/Business Partnering:
+ Business Partnering and financial support to the Technology Organization in North (R&D and IT). Ensure transparent, consistent, accurate planning & reporting.  Champion an environment of innovation and invention, earn trust with stakeholders. 

* Financial Controlling:
+ Technology Controlling: Support the month end review process with IT, and R&D budget owners (actuals vs budget). Ensure that performance and cost indicators are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Examine reports and data closely to check for discrepancies. Additional site controlling responsibilities (e.g. Central functions), providing assistance to Non-Tech site leadership. 
+ Stewardship: Provide support and guidance on internal and external policies to business partners. Continuous auditing for reporting, analysis, and finance processes impacting the business.
+ Process Optimization: Development of templates/tools for effective planning and controlling. Work seamlessly with Group South (Madrid) Technology Finance to improve consolidated Group Technology reporting. 
+ Reporting: Ongoing development/improvement of management reports- Opex/Capex, Project tracking, FTE, Time reporting, etc.
+ Business leadership: Goes beyond the mere reporting of data. Insight and well-articulated action steps accompany all reports. Anticipates and resolves issues and captures value creation opportunities. 

* Analysis/Projects:
+ Own & drive relevant financial analysis/projects within the Group Technology areas. Provide clear, and actionable data, insights & tools to support business partners in decision making and achieving goals.  Share learnings within team, and Group Finance.
+ Drive simplification projects and process standardization between North and South platforms

* Developing the organization:
+ Lead share & reapply sessions, organizational projects, etc. Coach colleagues and articulate and apply best practice.

Who are you?

We are looking for a driven individual who will have the opportunity to have a real impact on the business and the organization. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration and 1-3 years of finance experience in an international context, ideally with a focus on financial planning and analysis. You have the ability to pick up concepts quickly, dive deep into issues and effectively collaborate within a dynamic and fast-paced distributed environment. You are fluent in English and it is a plus if you also speak and write in Swedish or other European languages.
