Our Deals Valuation & Analytics team provides clients with support in business and financial decisions concerning company acquisitions, restructurings, incentive programs, arbitrations and other complex financial matters.
We have been experiencing strong growth and an increased demand for our services and are now looking for several additional team members. We are looking for associates, senior analysts and managers with 2-5 years of experience in company valuation and/or financial analytical work, e.g. from one of the Big 4-firms or other prominent consultancy firms, banks, corporate finance departments or similar.
A career at Deals Valuation & Analytics will give you the opportunity to analyze companies from a business perspective as well as focus on complex financial matters in order to draw conclusions about current (or projected) worth of an asset or a company. You will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of industries and sectors including private equity, the corporate and the public sector. It will suit you if you are eager to deep dive into the different industries and metrics, be creative in your approaches and navigate in the complex landscape.
You will be part of an expanding young and ambitious team of around 60 consultants focused on company valuation, financial analysis and financial modelling, which forms part of the larger unit PwC Deals/Corporate finance. You will work in teams as well as independently and you will face clients regularly. You are expected to be a driven problem solver with a strong business interest, eager to take on new challenges.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Financial analytical work to analyze financial history and develop valuation forecasts.Connect diverse metrics into the financial quantitative process.
Structural modelling to calculate the value of companies, options etc.(good user in Excel, Alteryx and /or other data programs)
Document analyses in well-structured reports to clients
Participate in client meetings
Project leading & product ownership
Train and coach more junior staff members
Be involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with business and economic development
Preferred skills
Bachelor’s (requirement) or Master’s (meriting) degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Industrial economics, Data & Programming combined with Finance from a prominent business school
Recently graduated or/and 2-5 years’ experience in financial analytical work, e.g. from a consultancy firm, bank, corporate finance department or similar.
Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and navigate in complexity and a passion for problem solving, curious and growth mindset, friendly attitude
Well developed verbal communication, cooperation and self-leadership skills
Experienced or /and talented in written communication (client reports).
Advanced level of English and Swedish
