Our team is primarily responsible for Sandvik’s financial reporting and consolidation and performance management system, and we aim to successfully supply process- and information owners with methods, tools, and guidance for efficient financial processes. Briefly about the job
As our Finance Application Specialist, you contribute to the development of our group consolidation system, taking part in system related projects and assignments. During the coming years, we’re designing and implementing a new group consolidation system – OneStream - and you’re a key person in this mission.
These are the main tasks:
Handling business requirements and recommending proper system alternatives and improvements in our system
Providing support and problem-solving for all our business units and users worldwide
Planning and preparation of our systems for monthly and quarterly reporting and supporting users and change requests.
Actively sharing your knowledge by training and supporting colleagues and stakeholders
Keep you updated on the OneStream system capabilities and communicate and collaborate with stakeholders within Sandvik.
The location for this job is in Stockholm (World Trade Center) or Sandviken. We offer you the opportunity to work remotely for two days a week, and some travel between Stockholm and Sandviken is included in the role.

You understand the demands and challenges of finance and bring fresh ideas for improvements and increasing the quality of our processes. In addition, you like working independently and show a high degree of self-motivation, and you totally agree when we state that teamwork and sharing knowledge is everything!
What to bring to the team:
Knowledge of the IT financial processes in an international corporate finance function, and understanding the importance of planning, accounting, controlling, consolidation and management reporting.
Experience of being the bridge between IT, finance and business in a similar role
Solid skills in Office 365 (Excel) and Power BI
A sincere interest in technology-driven innovations and services within finance
Excellent verbal and written skills in English, while Swedish is a plus.
Experience in implementing OneStream incl designing, developing, maintaining etc. is a plus
