We are now looking for a Financial Assistant to join our Accounts Payable team in Gothenburg for a temporary position until the end of August.
What will you do?
As a Financial Assistant with Stena Line you are a part of our Accounts Payable team. We are seven colleagues working closely together at our headquarters in Gothenburg. We process invoices for ten companies in the organization and have different responsibilities between us. As a Financial Assistant you will be responsible for a region and their invoices.
Some of your main tasks:
• Scanning
• Process invoices in our workflow system Palette
• Payments
• Contact with our colleagues within Stena Group
• Contact with suppliers
• Reconciliation of supplier ledger and suspense accounts
• Month end closing
Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are looking for someone who is a bit of a perfectionist, detail-oriented and meticulous. You are used to working independently and take full responsibility for your own work. You are flexible, enjoy working on different projects and have a positive view on change. Working with administrative tasks and numbers are in your comfort zone, and thinking outside the box to come up with new, more efficient work routines doesn’t scare you.

The must-have’s:
• At least a high school degree in Business Administration/Economics
• Experience from working in a Finance Department - preferably from Accounts Payable
• Experience from working with economy/workflow systems
• Great knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in VAT (moms)
• Fluent in Swedish as well as English, written and spoken (German is a plus too!)
If you have worked in systems like Palette or Redsoft that is definitely a plus!

The position is a temporary employment until 31 August 2021, in Gothenburg within our Accounts Payable team who are a part of our Finance Department. The employment will start with immediate effect.
