Role Summary:
The Financial Control Analyst will have responsibility for driving accounting compliance according to US GAAP, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate, actual financial reporting and analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, the Financial Control analyst will partner with the businesses operations teams to develop and present key analytics to the Management Teams to drive and support business strategy.
In addition, you will:
Manage the controllership and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and internal control rules.
Ensure accounting is in accordance with accounting principles and Company guidelines
Analyse the execution performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash profile, as well as corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
To analyse variable and base costs on a monthly basis, and report on variances and their causes.
Perform and review closing account reconciliations
Perform quarter end closing activities
Budgeting of facilities management costs and the responsibility for the re-invoicing of facilities costs to the sub-lease units.
Perform Ad hoc project controlling activities, such as ensuring compliance with controllership guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Proven working experience within financial analysis.
Desired Characteristics:

Ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Flexible, meaning that the candidate needs the skills to interact with a lot of stakeholders from different cultures.
Necessary to be flexible in work contents.
Self-confidence and be able to be strong in argumentation.
In this job there could be pressures from Project Managers to make changes to the financial forecasts. During those circumstances it's necessary to follow guidelines and instructions.
To enjoy process improvement initiatives and, during certain periods, being able to cope with a high workload.
