Sandvik Coromant have an end to end responsibility for all finance activities related to legal units in Sweden. Our Finance department perform financial control activities for Sandvik Coromant in Sweden. We ensure compliance with IFRS, Swedish legislation and Sandvik Financial Reporting Policies and Procedure, and participate in continuous improvements and efficiency development. To support our work, we’re now looking for a Financial Controller with a genuine interest in system and process development to join our office in Sandviken.

Your mission
In this role, you take an active part in our financial control department and developing our processes. You’re responsible for payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting and for performing month-end activities, which includes period end adjustments, reconciliation of GL accounts and reporting. You also ensure compliance with Sandvik Internal Control Framework. Finding areas for continuous improvements is also in your responsibilities, and as we continuously are automating our processes, RPA, Robotic Process Automation, is an important part of your work.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance, combined with work experience - preferably from working with accounting at a large company or an accounting firm. Additional experience from working with larger ERP systems, together with knowledge of accounting practices and the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately, is an advantage. As we operate both locally and in an international environment, you need excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
