Financial Controller

Resolution Games is a Stockholm-based VR/AR studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all - from gamers to non-gamers alike. We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to help elevate our growing company.



What you’ll do

As our Financial Controller, you will play a key role in growing Resolution Games. Your main objectives will be to build our internal financial infrastructure and processes as we transform from a startup. You will join a fast-moving team, working closely with our CFO/COO as you manage our accounting firm and work to continuously optimize and identify improvements in our current financial practices. You will also be responsible for the financial reporting to the board and investors.

As you probably already know, in a startup-like environment, your day-to-day work will likely not look the same, but we believe it will include all of the following;

- Be responsible for creating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Maintaining internal financial forecasting and budget tools
- Assist with treasury management tasks, ensuring group liquidity
- Actively work with improving internal control, “infrastructure” within the finance department, and ways of working.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks, including M&A, strategic analysis, and general business development projects




Who you are

The role will require a solid accounting background and it would probably serve you well to have had previous experience from a fast-growing company. However, being driven, curious, and with attention to detail, will be your most important attributes.

Requirements

- To be successful we believe you have extensive, probably 5+ years of working experience as a Controller
- You’re experienced in working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and execution are key. Therefore, you can prioritize while managing multiple tasks and still deliver on time
- You have attention to detail and are used to working in digital environments
- Great communication skills - You can argue your points when required, comfortably backed by your experience in accounting matters
- Fluency in English and Swedish is a given, additional languages welcome!

- Experience from working with group accounting
- Experience of M&As
