Financial Controller

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to the most respected and recognizable car brands in the world!

In this role you will have the opportunity to drive change, work with continuous improvement and take on all types of challenges, big and small, in a truly dynamic environment.

You will provide support to the team assuming full responsibility for:

§ Processing and paying all invoices for the Legal, IP, Compliance & Ethics, and Corporate Development & Governance groups in Gothenburg
§ IP royalty reporting
§ Actuals/Accruals monthly reporting
- Yearly reporting of external legal fees
§ Supporting external audits of the Department
§ Generating and processing vendor Purchase Orders
§ Supporting relevant internal projects

This includes a close interaction with team members in Göteborg, as well as collaboration with members of the global Legal teams, Finance, Treasury, and other parts of the organization and related entities.

This is a full-time consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant. The assignment plans to start as soon as possible and last until 2022-08-31.

Din profil
The following qualifications are required:

§ An educational background in finance or accounting;
§ 4+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting;
§ Understanding of Excel, SAP, and other financial software and systems;
§ Significant exposure to invoice and purchase order handling and payment processes; and
§ Proven ability to be a self-starter with analytical skills and experience in developing solutions within the finance area.

You are service minded, focus on getting things done and you are very structured and detail oriented. You enjoy identifying improvement areas and embrace change and you meet deadlines and are fine to work under time pressure from time to time. Because the Department manages very strategic and sensitive matters, integrity is natural for you. You also must be excellent at working and writing in English.
