About the role
You will be working in an international environment together with five colleagues in our Accounting team, who all are positioned in Umeå. The role includes tasks such as:
- Tax-returns in Europe, including VAT, EC-sales list and intrastat
- Day-to-day transaction work
- Accounting projects, e.g. IFRS-implementation, reporting projects etc.
- Assist Head of Accounting during monthly close and reporting
- Internal control over financial reporting
- Support the Transaction Team with customer payments, cash forecasting and cash collection
This role gives a great chance for development and has much influence in improving our routines, processes and working methods within Accounting. The position is until further notice.
Your Profile
You have a degree in Economics and three to four years of relevant working experience. Since the role operates internationally, it is crucial that you can both speak and write in English fluently. You will need to have experience from working in Office 365, especially Excel.
It is meritorious if you have been working in a middle sized or large company, preferably in the manufacturing industry, can speak German and/or have experience from IFRS, Movex, Cognos or Qlikview.
We are looking for someone who is structured with a high level of initiative and drive in combination with being prestigeless. To succeed in this role, it is important to be a team player and to see opportunities within the area.
