Financial Controller

A3P Biomedical is a Swedish diagnostics company specialized in advanced prostate cancer diagnostics. A3P’s main product, Stockholm3, a blood test for early detection of aggressive prostate cancer, has the potential to radically improve prostate cancer diagnostics and men’s health. A3P Biomedical’s vision is to significantly reduce the mortality of prostate cancer, one of the world’s most common cancers. We are currently promoting and selling Stockholm3 in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain and will enter more markets in the near future, with  focus on Europe and the US.

Main responsibilities
Monthly closing and financial reporting
Compile financial reporting from subsidiaries and consolidate Group figures
Prepare complete consolidated financial statements including income statements  balance sheets and cash flow statements, with accompanying analysis and comments
Keep up to date with developments and applicable accounting laws and regulations to fulfill the Group’s reporting requirements
Assist in preparations of the company's annual report and income tax return
Be the “person to go to” for colleagues in accounting and cost follow-up matters
Assist in and drive certain areas in the budget and forecasting processes
Payment of approved invoices, salaries etc.
Super user in applicable parts/modules of ERP system
Assist and be the back-up person for the Financial manager
Maintain, harmonize and develop chart of accounts and cost centre structure in ERP
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
BSc in Finance and Accounting or equivalent university degree
5+ years’ work experience from similar role
Experience in maintaining and developing accounting systems
Good knowledge and understanding in group accounting
Basic knowledge in project accounting
Interest in developing and improving accounting processes and related standard software (e.g. ERP system)
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Experienced user of Microsoft 365
It is a plus if you also have
Experience from international business and listed company environment
Experience of VAT-issues for sales outside Sweden and separation of none VAT/VAT business
