About the job  

We are searching for a Financial Controller that will develop and grow together with our Engineering and Supply organization in the Food & Water High Speed Separators division.

As Controller you will be responsible for the financial follow up, you will be involved in project order flow execution in Tumba and for the new workshop in Jordbro, you will also follow up assembly of Separator system. As we are introducing an update of our ERP system, Microsoft D365, your change contribution, from a financial perspective, will be important.

The Financial Controller appointment will be a part of the Finance Sweden organization and placed in Tumba outside of Stockholm in the legal entity Alfa Laval Technologies AB.

More specifically your key tasks will be: 
* Monthly closing and reporting including analysis and presentation of the outcome to the organization and the management team.
* Forecast preparation and reporting together with the organization.
* Analyse utilization of engineering resources and cost for projects.
* Continues processes improvement for financial activities.

There is a travel activity in this role as the organization has two locations (Tumba and Jordbro).

Occasionally, you will visit the rest of the Finance Sweden team in Lund.

Who you are 

To succeed in this role, you know how to play in a team but also working independently, you are open to changes, and you embrace them. You master the ability to quickly understand the core of a problem and focus on the most important aspects. You remain confident in situations with unknown elements, and you have the ability to challenge yourself and others in a positive manner.

What you know 

Academic background in Finance or Accounting at university level is required. It’s a pre-requisite to hold more than 7 years of experience working as business or finance controller.
Ideally you have been exposed to the Production and Manufacturing world. You are a super user in Excel, and you are familiarised with Power BI and Qlikview. Presentations skills comes along with the role, so we expect you to excel at PowerPoint and communication. And finally, you’re fluent in both English and Swedish.
