Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our finance team in Sweden. You will be building and managing a country level finance team which will be responsible for financial accounting of Konecranes companies in Sweden.

Your main tasks will consist of:

Responsibility of correctness and timely reporting of all financial accounting entries within our Swedish units.
Planning and executing the plan to combine two finance departments into one country level finance accounting team.
Managing financial accounting personnel resourcing and competence development.
Managing and developing financial accounting processes (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Asset accounting, General ledger) according to relevant accounting standards and instructions (IFRS, local GAAP, group instructions).
Managing both direct and indirect taxes and preparing annual tax declarations.
Arranging internal controls together with management and business.
Preparing statutory and closing reporting.
Preparing local financial statements and other mandatory reports to authorities.
Managing cash and currency hedging together with business.
Updating the transfer pricing documentation together with Group Tax Management.
Co-operation and communication with local management, business controllers, financial shared service center, authorities and auditors.
Financial Controller reports to Head of Financial Accounting EMEA West and will be located in Markaryd.

We believe that you have minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial management tasks and good knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and taxation. You have a university degree in Finance & Accounting. You have a positive and proactive ?hands on? attitude and good management skills. Previous managerial experience is an asset. You have experience of planning and developing financial processes in a changing environment. Good communication skills and fluent English. Hyperion, SAP or Navision experience is considered an asset.
