We are now looking for an analytical controller who can contribute to the development and strengthening of our team!
Financial Control Commercial Operations, a department within Corporate Control, is responsible for the quality assurance, analysis and presentation of the financial information for Scania’s owned sales and services companies (Business Units) worldwide.
Since we support Corporate Control, Scania’s CFO and the board of directors with reports and analysis we put great emphasis in qualitative, timely, relevant information, and decision support. This is the perfect position if you want to understand more about Scania and Commercial Operations as a whole and at the same time build a worldwide network!
What can we offer
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team of six driven controllers in Södertälje. We offer a position in an exciting and dynamic environment with the opportunity to analyse and develop the way of following up the Scania business with focus on the balance sheet and cash flow.
As a Financial Controller you will have close contact to the reporting teams in our Business Units worldwide. You are also responsible for the follow-up and analysis of certain business areas assigned to you. At the moment we are developing a more business supporting process to the Scania management and are also working in several exciting transformation and digitalisation projects.
Responsibilities
Financial controlling of monthly closings and projections from our Business Units
Consolidate, analyze and present the financial outcome and projections for your assigned business areas to the Scania Group management
Support and train the Business Units in financial reporting issues
Work actively to improve and develop our analysis and understanding of the business
Your profile
We are searching for a driven person with high ambitions and strong analytical skills. Experience from working with the balance sheet and cash flow is an advantage. You have a university degree within Business Administration and about 3-5 years relevant working experience, where group accounting experience is meriting.
You are an experienced Microsoft Office user and knowledge about Hyperion Financial Management and/or SAP is considered as an additional merit. Scania is a global organisation and proficient knowledge in both written and oral English is required.
You have the ability to act as a team player as well as the ability to work independently and take own initiatives. It is important that you have strong communication skills since you will be in contact with the business unit reporting teams and CFOs.
You will be located at Scania’s head office in Södertälje. The position requires limited travelling.
