Financial Controller

Beijer Electronics is now recruiting a Financial Controller to the headquarters in Malmö. In the role as Financial Controller you will be a part of our Financial Shared Service Center Europe which supports companies from Germany, UK and the Nordics.

The opportunity
Your primary tasks will be:

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting activities
- Coordinate and prepare external audits
- Support budget process
- Prepare and complete annual reports
- Work closely with the business controllers giving financial insight
- Manage a close interface within the organization, European sales affiliates, Group Finance, local and regional management, auditors, banking institutions, external financial service providers and tax authorities.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and be part of ongoing projects


Since the role will require a great deal of flexibility within the shared service center services, a strong background in accounting is required.

The successful applicant
We are looking for a driven, self-starter and positive candidate with at least five years’ experience as a financial controller/accountant or similar position and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance/Business Administration. You have experience from working in an international environment and great interest in and knowledge of ERP systems. We are working in IFS and AARO, knowledge of these systems is a plus.

As a person, you are mature with strong integrity and moral. You have a great organizational approach together with excellent communication skills (in both Swedish and English). You have a positive attitude and alignment to our core values; Drive, Commitment and Trust.
