We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance & Treasury department. The position reports to the Finance Manager for Cardo Shared Services and will be based at our head quarter in the center of Malmö, Sweden. Cardo Shared Services is a company within the Cardo Group, and has responsibility for the global group functions, such as Communication & IR, Purchasing, IT, Finance and HR. THE CHALLENGE You will be part of a qualified team and together you will develop and improve the Central Accounting Function for Cardo Shared Services. Your responsibility will be to develop and actively participate in: Accounting and financial operations The monthly closing process,to ensure timely and accurate financial results Monthly financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting process Currency exposure issues together with Treasury department VAT,tax returns and other tax issues Annual reporting You will work closely with the Finance Manager in order to further improve the financial reporting and planning within Cardo Shared Services. You will also have a leading roll in implementing a new ERP system in the near future. YOUR STRENGTHS You have a university degree in economics, accounting or finance. You have at least 3 years experience of qualified accounting, audit and/or financial controlling, preferably in an international environment. You have good knowledge in Excel and speak and write English with ease. Experience of implementing ERP-system is an advantage. As a person you are structured, analytical, a good problem solver and a team worker. Strong communication skills and an ability to co-operate at all levels with both external and internal partners are essential.
