Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) is the function in Group Reporting Tax & Control (part of Group Finance) with responsibility to secure that financial performance is correctly reflected for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities. FCA is also a global service provider through Accounting Services with process efficient, standardized service deliveries supporting local finance. FCA employs 1400+ people in 50+ countries. FCA Group & Sweden is the part of FCA with responsibility for financial performance reporting and legal compliance for: Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities based in Sweden.


What makes us special?
Our team is responsible for accounting and reporting of Group Trucks Technology (GTT) and Volvo Autonomous Solutions (VAS). VAS is a new Business Area within the Volvo Group. They sell services of transport solutions conducted by autonomous trucks and machines. This requires set up of accounting flows that are new to Volvo Group. We are therefore looking for YOU, a passionate and driven Financial Controller Consolidation, to join our team in Gothenburg.


Position Description
You will:
Drive and secure the quality of the consolidated reporting for VAS
Drive set up of new accounting flows for VAS
Take active part in the set up of new finance system for VAS
Take active part in various financial projects
Have close interaction with the CFO for VAS and her team
Drive and support in solving complex accounting problems
Prepare analyses and reports on specific needs to stakeholders
Support with annual reports for Swedish legal entities

Required education and experience
You have:
An academic degree in accounting
A solid background, probably from either an audit firm or an accounting department within an international corporation
Minimum of 8 years of advanced experience gained in the accounting area
Very good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish GAAP, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16

Technical/functional/language skills:
You:
Are fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Are an extensive user with good knowledge in Microsoft Office
Have experience in SAP and Essbase which is a major advantage

Have leaderships skills and you contribute to a positive atmosphere
Are a person with high integrity

Have the ability to build strong relationships in a virtual international environment
