Finance Services at Ingka AB provide accounting and treasury services to Ingka Group companies in Sweden and is our central finance function. We are now looking for a financial controller within the area of real estate.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
• Few years’ experience with increased responsibility within the area of financial controlling, accounting or finance related field. Experience within this field from IKEA is considered an advantage
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in both Swedish and English
• Experience within the area of real estate is an advantage
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you:
• Support and educate the business with setting up and maintaining the financial structures to follow-up cost and performance and support decision making
• Coordinate the budget, forecast and cost follow-up, including preparation of management reporting
• Support an efficient and effective cost recharging process (calculation, recharging, agreements etc)
• Work closely together with the local Accounting & Reporting team to ensure relevant, complete, accurate and timely reporting, based on global IKEA frameworks and local legal requirements and maintaining effective internal controls
• Follow-up and report on project costs within real estate, and benefits against budget/business case
• Work closely together with the real estate construction team and support the construction project manager with cost follow up in property investments

Finance Services is the central Finance function within accounting and provides a wide range of finance and treasury related services to Ingka Group companies in Sweden. Our team is responsible for a wide area of activities including compliance to external and internal rules and regulations, international laws, and reporting standards. We are about 35 co-workers within the function and together we support our customers in accounting, liquidity management, customer- and supplier invoices.
