Are you passionate about accounting and digitalization and are looking for the next professional step in a global environment, you might be our new Financial Controller for Volvo Penta.
Our position
We are now looking for a Financial Controller to join our FCA Volvo Penta team. The job involves working in close co-operation with the FCA Director Penta, Chief Accountant for Volvo Penta AB and three controller colleagues. You will also work together with Business Control and other functions at Volvo Penta, which will give you a broad understanding of the business and the operation. You will thereby have the possibility to work with and learn more about additional areas than your own area of expertise and to build a strong network both within FCA Group & Sweden and Volvo Penta.
You will have shared responsibility for the accounting records and accuracy in close collaboration with your colleagues in Accounting Services in Poland and India responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. You will provide internal and external parties with accurate and timely legal entity financial information, and drive efficiency and effectiveness for the legal and consolidation accounting flow through digitalization and other improvements. In your role you will also support consolidated reporting for Business Area Volvo Penta. You will report to FCA Director Volvo Penta.
You will be joining a team with highly skilled colleagues with a positive and forward-leaning attitude. The job involves working in close collaboration with other Chief Accountants, Financial Controllers, Business Controllers, and other functions within Volvo Group which will give you a broad and valuable operation and business understanding. Based on this, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn more about additional areas of expertise which will enable you to build a great network within Volvo Group and Volvo Penta.

Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and experience in the field of accounting
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Advanced skills in VGCS, SAP R/3, Essbase, Microsoft Office
Power BI is considered an advantage
