Arbetsbeskrivning
For Sandvik Financial Services, we’re now looking for an analytical and networking Financial Controller to join us. Someone who is financially skilled and eager to support us in becoming even more accurate and efficient in our finance work.
In the last decade, there has been a significant change in the way companies source equipment for new and existing operations, and that’s why finance, leasing and rental solutions have become increasingly important. At Sandvik Financial Services, we offer best in class financial solutions to our customers – enabling them to improve their performance and our own business to grow profitable sales.
The job
Working as a Financial Controller with us, you’re responsible for the consolidation and on-time reporting of actual results for the Business Unit of Sandvik Financial Services. This means follow up, analysis and clear explanations of our monthly results, and ensuring global compliance with accounting standards and guidelines. You plan, perform and support our closing procedures, as well as review and improve our overall reporting quality. You also support in profitability analysis and the performance management process; including development, implementation and tracking of KPIs.
Part of your mission is acting as a key advisor in tax matters - performing tax due diligences and investigations on demand, and supporting us with tax calculations and local statutory reporting. You also actively engage in optimizing and improving our financial processes, and you team up with relevant internal resources to ensure sufficient and proper financial system set ups and landscapes. Other important alliances include our internal accounting network, coordination towards external auditors, communication with local authorities, and off course, the collaboration across our own organization.
This position is located in either Stockholm or Sandviken and you report to the CFO of Sandvik Financial Services.
Your background and personality
We’re looking for a finance professional with strong business acumen and solid experience from financial control, accounting and reporting - preferably within below EBIT accounting for captive finance companies or financial institutes. You’re skilled in IFRS and Swedish K3 and have broad knowledge of tax matters, both VAT and corporate taxes. You’re also a comfortable user of SAP, BCP and Excel. A relevant degree, most likely within Economics or Business Administration, is required, and as we’re a global business, you need to communicate fluently in English.
As a person, you enjoy a setting where change is part of your everyday work life and where you can bring problem-solving, improvements and new ways of working to the table. Being both analytical and hands-on, you easily perform your tasks based on accuracy, trust and a timely delivery. Add to this a service minded attitude and the ability to collaborate and create sound relations, and you’re the one we’re looking for!
